L’Chaim
Life can be pretty lonely. In the Netherlands I don’t feel at home, but where would I?
This causes a restlessness and to shake this off, I wander into the night. In here, I roam. I’m able to disappear in the anonymity of it. Also, I find an intimacy within the night. Therefore, I’m able to get closer to myself.
During the night, I don’t solemnly find the heaviness and darkness of loneliness, but also the temptation of light and colour. I decide to focus on this.
Therefore, this project is called: ‘L’Chaim’ meaning ‘To life’.
